Yes. All seats are seated with equal panoramic views.
How many people will be in the cabin with me?
The maximum capacity of the cabins is 7 people. Usually 6 people travel in each cabin, or less, as long as there is no waiting queue for boarding.
Can my child visit alone?
Children aged 15 and under must be accompanied by an adult over 18 years of age.
Is there a ticket combined with the basket cars?
Not at the moment.
Can my child ride alone?
Children up to 15 years must be accompanied by an adult over 18 years.
Are there special rates for guests with disabilities?
No. However, you may request assistance and priority boarding.
I can make the trip back without coming out in land?
You must land, go to the boarding area and validate your ticket.
What is the distance from Funchal harbor to Funchal Cable Car?
The distance is approximately 3,5 km, walk you will take you about 20 minutes
Is there a combi ticket with basket cars?
No, you will have to buy tickets directly.
Is it possible to book tickets online?
For the time being it´s not possible to book or buy online.
Where can I buy tickets?
Tickets can be purchased at the following stations: Funchal and Monte.
